Tidewatch Command

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Tidewatch Command asks you to defend a chain of islands using limited resources, and the clever part is how it handles a small screen. Instead of tiny drag-and-drop units, you tap zones and assign roles from a clean radial menu. It works.

Matches last about ten to fifteen minutes, so it fits a lunch break. There's a proper campaign plus skirmish modes, and the difficulty curve is fair — I lost plenty but always understood why.

The only rough edge is the tutorial, which throws a lot at you at once. Push past the first hour and it clicks. Battery use is moderate and the game runs cool even on our older test device.
