Hollow Lantern

Hollow Lantern is a quiet, atmospheric adventure you explore by tapping through hand-drawn scenes. It leans on mood and puzzle-solving rather than combat, and it's easily the prettiest thing we've reviewed this month.

Puzzles are logical and never resort to pixel-hunting — hotspots are clearly marked, which matters a lot on a phone screen. There's a hint system if you get stuck, tucked away so it doesn't spoil anything by accident.

It plays perfectly in portrait, one hand, and sips battery since most scenes are largely static. If you like slow, thoughtful games, this one's a keeper. Chapters end on satisfying beats, so it's easy to play in sittings.
